We got Briony in to give us some ideas about what to do with our large kitchen/dining area. The space is very large but not really fit for purpose with a lot of wasted space and we wanted some ideas to make it work for us and our family. Briony came up with a couple of ideas and then adapted these for our comments, I was really pleased with her designs and was nothing we would have thought of. She really thought about what we wanted and needed and made the space work for us with some clever design features to maximise light in what has always been a very dark space.

As a Jacobean, listed property it needed careful attention to detail combined with fresh ideas so ensure that, whilst we remained sympathetic to the era of the property, we created a modern space suitable for our family (with 3 young children).

We have only completed the first phase to date, but we are so pleased with the results. Briony surpassed our expectations and her ideas took us out of our comfort zone. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Briony, her input was absolutely invaluable in redesigning our loft room. We knew we wanted to add some velux windows and brighten up what was a dark, low-ceilinged room, and we also wanted to incorporate an ensuite, but we weren’t sure how best to make use of the limited space and create something a bit different. As a rectangular room, I wasn’t sure what Briony might add to the process, but I’d seen the visuals and transformations on her website so we reached out and she visited the space. Briony took on board all the things we wanted to incorporate (which was quite a lot for a small space) and came up with a couple of designs which brilliantly achieved everything. In particular, she came up with the idea to double-stack the velux windows, into the loft recess to create a beautiful alcove with a stunning view – a bookshelf then created a dividing wall which hid the toilet, enabling us to keep the rest of the bathroom open-plan to maximise the space. She was easy to work with, receptive to our ideas, creative, resourceful and just downright lovely. At previous properties we’ve had quotes from architects to redesign spaces and the prices had been completely prohibitive – for someone with such prodigious talent, Briony was surprisingly affordable and I think her design ideas saved us time and money by helping us get it clear and right, from the start.

I had a few problem areas in my home that I couldn’t solve and needed some advice with.Briony visited me in my home for an informal chat and to look at the space. She then returned for a two hour consultation and found a resolution for all of my problem areas.Briony gave advice on lighting, furniture placement, soft furnishings and storage.

Briony came armed with her sketch pad which I refer back to often and also made a Pinterest board for me. I felt that Briony really understood my style and what I needed the space to do for me. Briony advised me on a bathroom redesign. It was a really challenging project. The room was tiny and the layout awkward. Briony came up with ideas I hadn’t thought of (and I’d been mulling for weeks!) which included some brilliant technical and plumbing solutions. I was really pleased that she was able to solve some of these problems because it made a new and much better layout possible.

Briony really got my sense of style and what I was looking for and I was delighted with the drawing she provided showing in quite a lot of detail what each layout might look like once units and tiles were installed. She also hand-drew a vanity I was hoping to have made bespoke. And she sourced some actual options for units and tiles, which was so helpful. I’ll definitely ask Briony to help again!

We had the pleasure of working with Bryony over a couple of years, that’s how long it took us to have the ideas, build the extension and then create the finished look using Bryony’s inspiration on how to decorate.

We initially contacted Bryony to help us with lighting as we wanted a large open plan area and didn’t have a clue where to start. She listened to everything we both said and she helped us to compromise as a couple and design something that suited both our style which is a talent in itself! Briony is incredibly talented and friendly. I turned to her after we had completed our rear extension and wish I had found her before we had started. I wanted to inject colour but not through painting walls and wanted a modern but welcoming family space.
Working with her was incredibly easy and she listens and questions you so she fully understands the brief. Working via Pinterest was so much easier for me as it meant I could browse on my lunch break or when I had a quiet moment.

Then once I saw something she had pinned that I liked, bang follow the link and its ordered. If I wasn’t sure she would quickly respond to my questions or suggest alternatives. Now when I look at her original drawings and where we are, they are pretty much a replica of each other which tells me how good she is at her job as she nailed the brief.
I look forward to working with her on the next project and one day when we finally convert the attic I will work with her fro, the beginning rather than just at the end.

We worked with Reyne Design for a new orangery extension which we were looking to create a combination of family space, a play area and dining area. We were struggling with how to make best use of the space and break it up into areas without losing the open plan feel, Reyne design provided 3 design and layout choices which would all have worked well and really met our brief. We are currently building our orangery based on our chosen option and it is coming together very well. Reyne design was able to help us be brave with some colours and design choices which we usually would not have considered, yet it is in keeping with us and the rest of our house and we can’t wait to see the finished area. We employed Reyne Design to help with our Victorian family home which we were remodeling and extending last year (2016). The existing house was reasonably well balanced, full of character and sat on the edge of a small village in the countryside near the Peak District. But, for all its charm, it was too small for our family and didn’t actually lend itself to being extended due to the layout.

I heard about Briony through a close friend. She agreed to take on the project and came to our rescue with several options for us to contemplate, one of which really struck a chord with us. I was very impressed with the way Briony worked, her professionalism and dedication. She really had an uncanny knack of understanding what we wanted and suggesting things which we wouldn’t have thought of (like changing a proposed lounge into a wonderfully open living kitchen diner which has become the focal point of the house!). Not only did she get the overall design correct, she has good eye for the finer detail and finishing touches which make all the difference (and which Fi and I are entirely useless at!). And we still get suggestions from her as she finds things that she thinks may be of interest.

All in all, Briony did a great job for us and genuinely appears to care and take pride in the results of her work which I think is rare nowadays. I’d thoroughly recommend her to anyone.

Briony helped us to re-design pretty much the whole ground floor of our house – changing it from a functional house to a fantastic family home. We’ve moved from having several rooms (some of which were not used previously) to a large open plan space the whole family can enjoy whilst still retaining those all important escape areas for when they are needed! Briony’s ideas on configuration of the space and particularly how to give us the rooms we needed were spot on – she understood exactly what we were after but also provided valuable input in areas we had not considered.
