This Arts & Crafts home was renovated and extended to bring balance and flow, where the generous ground floor once outshone the modest bedrooms above. By enlarging each room and creating a new primary suite in the attic, the family gained both space and comfort, while the character of the house was carefully preserved. Sustainability was central — we reused where possible, worked with local suppliers and natural materials, and minimised waste without compromising the design. Antiques and custom upholstery sit alongside crittal-style doors and expansive glazing, blending Leonie’s love of traditional detail with the Chris’s contemporary style. The result is a home of contrasts: cosy and personal in some corners, light and airy in others, but always welcoming.
